Advanced Packet Pickup up: PRE-RACE DRIVE BY PACKET PICKUP SATURDAY, OCT. 3rd at the LEWES PUBLIC LIBRARY located at 111 Adams Ave; Lewes, DE. 19958 (off Freemon Highway on the left heading towards the Ferry & CHSP) from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

PARKING: Beach One / Bathhouse has plenty of parking

Relay members will jog to their location...much shorter and a great warmup

The James J. Kiernan Memorial

Scholarship Fund

The 9

th

annual Seashore Classic is being run this year in

honor of James Kiernan. Mr. Kiernan was known to all

in this community as a philanthropist of the highest

esteem. To keep his name ever present in a charitable

way his wife and four daughters have created the James

J. Kiernan Memorial Scholarship Fund. For over 30

years Mr. Kiernan has given of himself for numerous

charities in this area. He has donated time and money

not only personally but through his restaurant, Irish

Eyes. His family has stated in all the condolences they

have received since Mr. Kiernan passed one word comes

up again and again…generosity. They believe he would

want his passion for giving to stay alive in this

community.

This newly established fund will be handled by Horizon

Philanthropic of Lewes, DE. Information on how to

apply for this scholarship will be available in the near

future.
