About

Grass Roots Rescue (GRR) is an all-
volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit group that
saves dogs, cats, and other animals that
are at risk in shelters and within the
community.
GRR's primary objective is to improve the
quality of life for animals. We strive to
achieve this goal through various
methods:
Pulling at-risk dogs in local
shelters and providing them with medical
and foster care until the perfect
permanent home is found. We also
accept owner surrenders when space
becomes available.
Outreach: We aim to increase the overall
health and well-being of animals by
empowering members of the community
through education and sharing
resources.
Education: Providing information to pet
owners on appropriate pet care–
ensuring a lifetime of happy, healthy
relationships for all!

Course
The out & back course will start and finish in Gordon's Pond and take runners, walkers, and our 4-legged friends north towards Herring Point on the Gordon's Pond trail to the turn-a-round & back.
