Note from race Director:

WETSUITS

The use of wetsuits is regarded by the sport of triathlon and USA Triathlon as a safety issue. The rule is that the use of such is prohibited if the water temp exceeds 78 degrees 'F or above. Thus the use of wetsuits is allowed if the water temp is 78'F or below. Yes it has been expressed that such use can be an advantage to those who may be weaker swimmers. At the same time it can be argued that all can benefit. Wetsuits has been a key to enhanced water safety for all, so in our case with Dave Reynolds- they will be allowed based on race-day water temperature. In the end if you are not fit enough and have not trained properly, then you risk much more!!

Team Members have to register Individually.

Current 2019 RBP guards: $40 Ind. & $50 Teams

NO RACE-DAY REGISTRATION

NOTE...The goal is to have all participants registered by Friday evening at 6 pm.    Participants must realize once they register there is alot of "behind the scenes" work that is to be done with shirts and bibs and getting things ready for you to pick-up.   Every year I seem to have more and more athletes that wait until registration closes and then they contact me to try to register...many come to packet pick-up on Saturday and try to register and some even come on race morning and try to register.    Normally I have let them in the race without charging anymore for my time, work and inconvienence that it causes to get them in the race LATE.    THIS YEAR YOU WILL SEE A INCREASE IN THE FEE IF ONE WAITS UNTIL AFTER FRIDAY NIGHT AT 6 PM TO REGISTER.   THE FEE IS $25 MORE ON TOP OF THE NORMAL PRE REGISTRATION RACE FEE PER ATHLETE.   THIS IS THE ONLY WAY THAT I CAN TRY TO ELIMINATE LATE REGISTRATIONS AND TO GET EVERYONE REGISTERED BY FRIDAY NIGHT AT 6 PM.    THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION...RACE DIRECTOR TIM- SS
