Description:

The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & the Center for the Inland Bays is proud to host this 4th annual 5k run & walk to benefit the Diamondback Terrapins and the Inland Bays. All ages welcome.

Diamondback:Why did the Turtle cross the Road? Come to the Diamondback Dash 5K and find out!... Help us kick off the start of the Diamondback Terrapin breeding season. As the Terrapins get ready to cross dangerous Rt. 1 to lay their eggs this spring, we want to make sure they get all the help they can. Amenities:

Post award ceremony for runners, walkers & spectators with a fun BBQ, including Burgers, Beers and other good eats!

Technical (performance) t-shirts, race goodie bag & after party water stop and refreshments provided, timing & finish line by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.

Awards:

Awards presented to the male/female Overall and Master Champions, as well as the top three finishers in 9 age groups: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

Registration fees:

$20.00 (pre-registration fee through  May 17)

$25.00 race day registration from 8:00 – 8:50 a.m.

Directions:

From Rehoboth/Dewey follow Route 1 south and exit to the right just before the Inlet Bridge. Follow race signs. From Bethany/Fenwick follow Route 1 north and exit to the left just after the inlet Bridge. Follow race signs. Parking available onsite.
